The Brooklane Institute Building was a unique home-office for a psychologist, who wanted to try out an inworld practice. She wanted a version of the Farnsworth House with a second floor and ballroom for her inworld wedding. Because she planned on a home-office, the design was further extended to include a separate east and west wing.
The main entrance was on the seaside, with a castle-like balcony-dock, which also provided port for the client's yacht. Stepping over the threshhold into the house, the right side led to the office wing, which had a waiting area with modern-glass koi pond, and the left side led to a grand living room and ballroom, which featured an extended ceiling and tall waterfall display. Directly ahead stood a hidden alcove beneath and behind stairs leading to the upstairs.
Like the Farnsworth House, the Brooklane Institute Building was a wonder made of glass. (Privacy curtains could be deployed per wall upon a click.) Structurally, however, it was designed to appear formidable and established—like an Institute.
